Question Be honest, how many of you have tossed a tool out of your boat in total frustration??

Got it started on another thread so let's hear the stories!!

I got pissed at the raw water pump while trying to change the impeller on the water at my parent's cottage in Northern Michigan. There were some pretty good boat wakes and I'm in about 3 feet of crystal clear water sitting on a mooring while I worked. Boat went one way, I went the other, and I cut the bridge of my nose on the hatch lift bracket!! Needless to say I had to buy a new Craftsman!! It hit the water a LONG ways away. And even in the nice clear water, I could NOT find it. Like I said, I threw it a long ways. And a butterfly bandage kept the bleading to a minimum!!

Then there are the countless over the head and into the yard tosses. I usually find them back though.

Does dropping a tool overboard and your dad wanting to hurt really really bad count?

Got pissed off at a CD changer and threw it in the lake - does that count?

You guys must not be buying your tools from Snap-On. I've got $40K+ in my main tool box, another couple grand at home. I'm a lot more likely to toss an engine part than a tool!

This Poll is flawed it should be pro-rated to the amount of time you have spent working with tools on your boat.
I answered No but apart from changing oil a couple times I am working an a big 3 hours of mechanical work on my rig unless reading all the Books regarding 502 Mag MPI's count then I'm way up there.

Not me but my brother is the KING of this, and ONLY when he is working on his own cars. When it is a customers car he can work on it for days on end and never make a peep but I have seen him do the most simple jobs on his car, have things go wrong, next thing you know he is taking a sledge hammer to the thing!!!!! I will then ussually walk over there CAREFULLY trying to miss the flying tools and car parts and be like why did you not try this and fix it and then he has a couple days of body work to do.
