Default Miss Budweiser RC Boat

Ok, this is sweet. Has anyone driven one of these? I saw the video and they are fast! They are a pretty damn good deal at $299, ready to run. Looks like the perfect thing to do while rafted up drinkin coldies on the water!

I've got something simular... they are a lot of fun.
I wouldn't dare run it around real boats though, it is pretty squirrely, and it has a direct-drive prop shaft, and that means it does not stop! The only way to stop these things is to grab it out of the water as you idle it in, and then pinch the gas line, or run it out of gas.
The other downside is they take on a lot of water, and the batteries are always getting wet and going dead.
If you had a couple of these things to race against each other, you could spend all day at the lake and not even launch your real boat.

awesome. I didn't think about the no stopping part! You could really wax somebodies paint job if it lost control.

I totally agree w/ bajadave. I used to own a gas powered vee that would take on a lot of water. One day too much water = wet batteries = servos stuck in whatever position they were in before control loss = 12' launch off the shore I must say it was a durable little bugger I now have a little electric vee that my mom (vinyl graphics company) applied vinyl to that is a match to my boat. Great in the swim area, and a controlled stop. The only downside is it only goes about 20mph.
