Its getting warm here!!!!!
 

It is 47 deg out today!!! People from florida, Cali, etc.... I know it dosent even get that low in the nightime lows, but lately we have been mid 20's as high!!! You can tell it has been a long winter when you are happy about 47deg:rolleyes:

You have it made kid!! Enjoy it while it lasts!!! Its 29* here right now and they are talking 4-12" of snow depending on where you live by noon tomorrow!! :(

Now I get to do the Florida thing.... :D

Must be nice. Here we are having ICE! We just closed our offices due to the weather. We are supposed to get up to three inches of snow on top of the ice tonight. GRRRRRRRRRRR

closed the office, I shoveled through about 2 feet of snow last month a couple mornings to get to my car for work.:(

Snow and ICE are two very different things. 4X4-snow...no problem. NOTHING goes on ice.

Sorry to hear that the cold white stuff is again rearing its ugly head! I know that it has been a long winter for some of you....but we promise not to use up all of the sunshine!

Took almost an hour to get home from work and I work less than 6 miles from the house. Now the lights have been flickering on and off. Everything is covered in a thick sheet of ice. Everything has closed down, even the mall! For Pete's sake.....where is SPRING?
Ice today, snow tomorrow and 60 degrees on Friday......Kansas weather! Jeeze!
I bet you warm weather folks are feeling real sorry for us Kansans right about now. HA!:mad: :(

Hate to say it but ice, wind, hurricanes are beautiful in my business. Ice storm in NC had 1,500,000 consumers out of power which equaled $3,000,000 in sales over 5 day period, gotta love those ice storms. That is as long as my house isn't in the path. 70's here Wednesday time to break out the hose and fire her up.

Hot down here past couple days like 90 yesterday. AC full blast in the trucks.:D

Yes, it is crazy here. We are under ice today and tomorrow 50! :confused:

Looking like we are out of the woods as far as snow goes.... We have had snow, sleet and/or rain here every week for the last 8 weeks. Forecast for the next 10 days 50-60 degrees. Spring is just around the next bend.......

When I lived in Florida (Sarasota), the winter of 2000, it got pretty cold a couple of days. I'd say it was about 30 degrees or so. My roommate, who lived in Florida all his life, went out to start his car and the windows had frost on them. He didn't know what to do. I go out and sure enough FROST. So I take out my ice-scraper and start scraping my windows. He walks out with this dumbfounded look on his face. He says WHAT HECK IS THAT THING? I say AN ICE-SCRAPER. He comes over, checks it out, and asks to use it.

He had never seen one before.
