Sounds like it will be a fun trip! I could be interested. I`ve never boated on Champlain before. My father in law is from VT and grew up on the lake. I`m going to check and see what would be the best way from Maine.

I just looked uo the trip on Mapquest, surprised to see it` only a 4 hr drive from here. I wonder how the rig would tow across the mountains????

I don't know about Western Maine or eastern NH but I've driven that road in eastern VT a ton and it is more fitted for a Porsche than a 350 dually pulling a Gun!!! If it's the same in western Main you might want to go a bit south and stick to Hgwy's. Just looking out for you.

Here's what we do when the lake is solid around here waiting for it to come back to it's liquide state. My wife in red and Barb her friend from Marco Island, FL, last Saturday.

Hey GLH, I'm up with just the guys the first week of June... I can't promiss anything, but might be able to hook up. It's a pretty drunken time, and sometimes to drunk to be out on the water
But the first Saturday we should be in the water by Noonish, and at the Naked turtle or Burlington by 2:00. I'll get Numbers from you before the trip!!!
