shipping a boat across country?
It's been a long time since I've posted but, I just moved out Phoenix from Maryland. I towed my race trailer with all of my belongings, but had to leave the boat back under the snow. Can anyone help suggest a fairly priced company or individual? It's a 29' Cobra cat, very light boat on a triple axel trailer. PS.. Any Phoenix boater around? Where's the best lake? Thanks Joe

Give Harold Mc Mullen, at Wanda's Hauling a call. He's on the east coast. He moved my 28' Carver from Maine to Sanfrancisco for me last month. Good responsible/experienced boat hauler and very reasonable. His # is 919-556-8304
Tell him Kurt from Maine sent you:D |
Im with you Lucy
Ive contacted several "Marine Haulers" to move boats and they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too expensive, a flat bed or container is the way to go.:fish: :fish:

Hey Joe, Welcome to Phoenix! I just got three estimates for hauling a 35' Motion from Ft Lauderdale to Phoenix. The prices ranged from $3500 to $4000. I thought that was high so I'm looking for options. I'd like to know more about that container shipping process; if anyone reading this thread can provide more information on that I'd appreciate it. Is your cat the one for sale? Lots of great boating here in Arizona - Lake Powell (Page), Havasu, Pleasent (went Sunday).
