Outstanding Job Tim, Be Damn careful, and take along a chase boat, or two, till you sort it out. Be sure to put a little extra ballast up front for the sea trial (about 150 lbs. if I remember from the C/G calc's ). Also remember what Audacity said in a former post about 'Moment of Inertia' aka Rolll Center, put it right under you, Spin the wheels out (per T2x) especially with the 'bigbocks', and dont turn too quick, you've got a lotta' weight wanting to come around in a slidejob.... You'll be fine !!!!!!!!!! be sure to keep your air mask 'AT' your face in case of the unthinkable, and make us proud Brother!!!!!!!!!;) :fish:

looks much better than it did last year.
|
thnx all..
ok here is my plan: if the boat runs OK with that much weight at the back, then i will call it miracle and will drive it till the end of 2003, :) if not: i will again try to drive it till the end of this season and will find a bigger blank boat.cause i have to much parts+spares.but my next boat will be a V-bottom 40 0r +. am considering all details for safety;will try the boat with 28' props first. fire system:checked dive instruments:checked there are bubbles in font of tunnels escort boat:organised :) |
you know you could drop in some small blocks to reduce weight if she runs really funny.
|
puder : nice idea but my goal is to have a real offshore boat.
i dont believe 28 size is cool for offshore. i: want to cruise fast in all types of sea conditions, need a room for sometimes, something bigger probably a V bottom. |
Great Job !
