O.T. POLL: TOO much O.T. ??
well, I for one enjoy the discussions and jokes and pics. of the day here at oso. IT makes my day more enjoyable and a lot of times I get a good laugh.
about 2 weeks ago oso asked if we needed an o.t. only section, the vast majority of us said it was o.k the way it was. I happen to agree, 9 out of 10 times, o.t. threads are clearly marked and if your not interested in world politics or jokes, photo's of the day, religious discussions, trucks, cars, Havasu vs. lotto, then you can easily skip over things you are not interested in.
We are a community and these discussions are a part of our society, it allows us to interact on a level " other than boats ".
IF oso did have an o.t. section, I'm sure there would be whiners and complainers in there too..
also for those of you not interested in o.t. material, understand that for many of us this had been a VERY cold winter and we are all looking forward to spring, when we can get out on the water. so sure, there is going to be a lot of snowmobile, skiing, and various other o.t. stuff going on..

I think the OT is alot now but its winter and our boats are sleeping, most of us spend tons of time on this site and the other people on this site I conside friends and regardless of the forum as boating friends I think we should be able to talk about whatever events effect our lives. Its not like there is a limit on # of posts and the OT is causing inability to post boat related threads.

Leave it be.
Besides, Havasu vs. LOTO couldn't be any more on topic IMO. These two lakes are the mainstay of performance boating in their little part of the world.
