I just got a call from the dealer and mine is in. I'll pick it up tonight and hopefully it will be as good as my 99 F250 Diesel was. Anyone know who does a good job of adding air suspension for a reasonable price?

Wayne Ford on 46

Shop around if you are looking. I paid full sticker. They did go up on my trade quit a bit but would not budge on the price of the truck. The extra on the trade also helped on sales tax.

Hey diesel guys, what sort of mpg, non-towing, are you seeing in daily driving. Also, what rear end gear?

Friend of mine just bought a new F450 dual with the 6.0 liter. I'll let you know.

Troutly how did you access the Ford SSM. As a wrench turner it would help me to know. Thanks

Good news, bad news. Good news is I sold my 99 F250, received my new labbed props, got my hot tub fixed that has not worked for over a year and picked up the Excursion today which the ride, handling, turning radius, noise level and power is much better than my old 7.3 diesel 250.

Bad news is the build date on the Excursion is 02/03 . One day, one bloody day and today would have been perfect. I have had two cold starts and I already have a rough idle. I know the dealer well and will have the ICP sensor replaced soon.

I must say though, even knowing that I have a problem that needs to be fixed it still is an awesome vehicle. I will let everyone know how things go.

Also, the Tranny is smoother than any vehicle I have ever driven which is very nice.

Horseplay3, Get the 3.73 gears , limited slip too. These motors make plenty of power . Don't need no stinkin 4.10's !! I get 16.5-17.5 with all my trucks . Crew cab F350's . A good "chip " can realy add to that !!

Troutly , thanks for that input ! Mine is due in tomorrow , I think ! JOE
