gdfatha,
Looks real NICE!! Has he started his permitting process yet? I'm afraid that's going to be the biggest obstacle, Thanks to the $MC!

Preliminary investigation has disclosed that the specific site was even recommended by the board that is presenting an $$$$$ assessment plan for new marinas.
He expexts the fee to be a one time charge of about $$750 per slip (175) AND each dry storage slot (400) since he is in region 6 of the manatee protection zone:hothead: :hothead:

About a mile south (Oak Hill, region 7) the fees can go as high as $$1500 per slip or dry storage slot due to a heavier manatiee trafffic/population zone.
YET!!!!! Oak Hill government is evaluating some deep water property where they want to construct boat launching ramps.

Manatee vs government vs $$$$$ vs boaters......Hmmmm....
