I thought I saw something last night that said they were having contract negotiations with Gandolfini. I do not they are going to let the Series slip away. Would be a real bummer.

It's $800K per episode, not a week. The show was done in it's third season. If you want to see edgy, in your face, well written television, watch "The Shield" on FX.
If Gandolofini wants a cool million per episode, give it to him, and make a 2 hour final episode/movie and be done with it.

Typically, there is a show every week, so every episode = week. DUH!

ya but being from the aera where they film the movies. they have been known to shoot 2 episodes in 1 weeks time so he could be out of state to shoot other things so it could be 2 mil a week on some weeks not bad but don johnson has more pocket change these days. lol
