Ever Been Stoned?
 

Got another attack @ 3 in the morning Wed. Had my wife call 911 and sent me off to have this Kidney Stone removed.
I was scheduled for Tues, but it didn't want to wait. This sucker was 9mm in size.:eek:
I never want to go through that again.........:(

I also had a nice 9mm about three yrs ago.
They got mine out the hard way (no, they didn't cut me open):eek: :eek: :eek: because insurance wouldn't pay for the lithotriptor (sp?)
Why is it that the attacks only happen at 3a.m.??

I've had them twice, both times treated with lithotripsy. It is a miracle cure. In at 8 am out by noon, cured.

I say run a 9mm rod up the insurance companys parts and let them see how it feels and then maybe they will allow more things to be approved.

I feel for you Sharkey. I passed a tiny 3mm stone in Nov and the pain was incredible. I couldn't imagine what you're going through.
