I copied US1 Fountain's design to make mine. This one is quite a bit higher than his.

Nice! You are the 4 th person that has copied one of my ideas and I have yet to recieve any 'appreciative jestures'. (read between the lines->) -----------$$$$$$$$$$$$-----------

I don't see a way to adjust for different heights, other than trailer tongue jack on yours.

My first one was made with a floor jack and it worked fine on my last boat where the drive was close to the ground. My drives on this boat are pretty high and the center of gravity was too high for the floor jack to handle safely.

Ok.. it is scheduled to go in for a custom paint job, But my day job has had me a bit busy. Soon as my new shop get organized, I will update it.
It does work, crude but works. I have started working on drives again, even though the new shop is not completed..

I think something like Too Old has attached a photo of will clamp on my mtc\atv jack to allow me to put the drive on by myself. Maybe I just need to get the welder
out and make one. I thought there was someone who make them commercially.

Make it high and wide enough for a motorcycle lift slide under.

Good idea. Something else that would be good is some
kind of screw system like a transmission jack that will
allow you to tilt from side to side and back and forth.

Default Jack

My father is building one similar to post 21 with the ability to raise/lower and tilt by hydraulic as well.

Will post a pic when complete.
