paid 1.35 a litre for 87 yesterday. so just over 5.13 with the CDN dollar where it is

Yesterday I paid $3.81 next door, then looked over an hour later and it was $3.99 so something MAJOR must have happened somewhere in the world. The good news is its back down to $3.98 today.

Obommer just released 30 million barrels of oil from our strategic reserves, a brilliant move now that gas prices have hovered at $3.50+ for a freaking year or better. What a piece of sh!t.......oh, there is an election on the horizon though. FYI - Gas was at a national average of $1.78 when this tool took office....:violent-smiley-021:

as others have said, gas prices are on the decline. releasing 30 millions barrles of oil IMO is too little too late. we have been hit hard with absurd gas prices. a move that should have been done at the beginging of spring.

I thought I read we use 60 mill a day so what good are 30

1.318 a litre here in Toronto. That works out to a nice $5.00 a gallon for regular.

I paid 3.65 yesterday for Regula, The day before I paid 4.15 for diesle.

CNN said the gas prices have never been this high so early before Memorial Day. :(

Biloxi, Ms. $3.25/9 gal. yesterday. Huge difference in a year.

Couple places around here at $3.47 unfortunately none by me there all across town. By my shop its $3.79

When I was in Cocoa Beach, prices in that area and Melbourne were about 3.56, now they are at 3.44 or so. Prices around me in VT now are still 3.87 or so. Last I checked anyway.

The interesting things is taxes.

Florida combined state and federal taxes are 52.9 cents
Vermont combined taxes are 45 cents.
