This thread, like this forum is all about COMMUNICATION. How is someone going to know to likes, dislikes, troubles, and answers to problems that plague people just like them. How is everyone or you, going to know if you don't ask questions. Some people may think the same and some different. And you may piss a few people off too. The only way to find out is through COMMUNICATION!

The best way is to avoid subjects that OSO has spelled out more than once as "off limits".......period. Like this thread....

Why would you? Your cooler than most of the people posting. Myself included. Don't call them boaters until you see what they are driving.

Too Old and Chaos,

Where was everyone when I was having a "conversation" on here about these very same issues. I was only trying to say that some issues are better left alone on a "boating " site (and many other sites as well). Everyone has the right to believe and talk about all issues, but there are times and places that these things should be brought up. Politics and religion I don't believe are good topics to be brought up on this forum ( I know Shane doesn't agree with this). As it has proved itself time and time again on here that it always causes trouble between members. Think about what and when things should be brought up. Would you over a nice family Sunday dinner (with your parents) bring up the night before and how you hooked up with 3 ladies and the crazy things they did to you. I know I wouldn't. It called respect. Maybe more of that should be shown on here sometimes. You can't always make every one happy, but lets not put a loaded gun in a childs hand with controversial topics.

I got some flaming from this last time so go ahead again. I can handle it. ET

Guess it should have started as a poll? Then no one would have had to respond in a post. If you want to know the demographics of offshore powerboaters, I think Michelle May-Schmidt did a survey last year.
