I had them all set up to race just outside Boston harbor off Nantasket Beach. The town was on board as well as the harbor master. They never even gave me a courtesy call. Too bad could have been a great spot to race, with great spectator viewing.

So who wants to be the big dog and form a local club that will support a local racing in Cape Cod. All you need is a sponsor who will pay the purse fees and some (20+ support boats and another 5+ with Meds on board) support and turn boats.
Even when race organization brings a race, someone needs to organize the local support fleet.
Look at the Great Lakes, POPRA under the APBA banner and NJ Offshore under the OPA banner. How about CCOffshore.com? Some one needs to step up and get the ball rolling.

OPA is looking to expand it's Northeast race schedule. So get a sponsor with about 40K, the rest of the stuff I mentioned above and lets go racing. OPA will take care of the rest.

If you do it do the cape not the lake. No more lake races unless its one of the great lakes.
