Question Interest Rates-Boat Loan

Ok....I have a quick question for anyone in the "know". What is the going rate on a boat loan these days? I realize that a home equity loan would probably be the cheapest as mortgage rates are so low but I was wondering what the rates are for borrowing let's say $100,000 for 10, 15, or 20 years on a 1999 model boat?

Thanks in Advance!!!!!

Not sure of current rates, but stay away from Coastline Financial in Ft. Lauderdale

I just got a loan from Coastal for 5.34% for 20 years. Real nice people to deal with.

Hey 29

I knew the name sounded familiar then I saw Texas. So have you made it back home yet?
I was talking to a person that was working on the power plant project and he said the funding was real shaky.

Man!!

Its been a nightmare out here. Contractors wanting to walk and the hole nine yards. We just got things worked out with the general contractor today and the paper work is being finalized for them to complete the job on a lump sum contract. Not sure when the first unit is going to be ready to fire , but its close to the end of may.
The fiancee is already to go home an enjoy the summer. My contract was extended to bottom of may or first of june. Of course this all subject to change.
Aren't you working on getting a 38 Sonic or something?? Good to hear from you. I told KAAMA (Mark) I may be around to be bumper B***H the beginning of this summer!!

5.34%? Wow...that's a great rate that's for sure. I'm guessing that is for a new boat.....what about used rates????

ANYONE?

Thanks!!!!!

Thats too bad about all the red tape hold ups. It really makes a job tough.
I'm headed out early next month for Maryland to pick up a 386 Sonic. I can't wait. Pictures will be coming. Oh yea, we sold the condo.
It sounds like you will be leaving just as things start to get nice here. Maybe...
I hope to get a look at Kaama's boat this year. I'm sure I'll have to look quick to see anything as he passes me.

Dave its a 2001 so it is a used boat. I know, I couldn't believe the rate either.
