Do any of you folks work with log homes; as a construuction loan to include the lot?

I just locked in to a refinance about two weeks ago. Went with Citimortgage because thats who we are already with and it was all done over the phone. Within 10 days the appraiser was at my house. 15 years no points 5.375 and not much more than we were paying. It's gonna save us 11 years paying mortgage and we will have 100k line of credit at closing. Can anyone say BIGGER BOAT:D :D :D

Craig, I hope you meant 4.375, if not I would rescind that transaction. We are at 4.875 on a 15 year with no points. The 30 yr is at 6% no points ,Closing Costs about $1,100.00 plus escrow if you want it. Rates went up 1/2% last week but are heading bak down. I would not lock now but start the process so you are ready to pull the trigger when they stabalize again.

Really??? I'm in the process of closing a refi with Wells, currently have a Wells loan. 30 year, 6.8% no points, loan to value 35%, $1800 to close. Yea, I'm getting ripped!! So what can you do for me?

Locked in tonight at 5.99 on a 30year no points $700 to close.....but then again the Broker is my Brother in law!!!
