Daytona-VIP Seating & Wet Pit info
Here is the latest info I found for any VIP seating etc for the Daytona races.
The Plaza is about 1/2 mile north of the Adams Mark.
Also, I visited Sea Love Marina (the site under negotiation for the wet pit). Although it is closer to the course, it looks like a small bump will bring it all down. AND.. the roads getting to the launch ramp are so narrow it seemed like an accident ready to happen. It is about 5 miles south of the Adams Mark. Close to the Light House.
I suggest anyone else in that area (Ponce Inlet) check out the area. Also check out the Down the Hatch Seafood Restaurant and Lounge.

To eliminate any "issues" of what this year's kickoff VIP ticket will buy, we are providing information ahead of our first GMC Pro Grade race of the season, Daytona Beach.
Tents will be set in the Plaza parking lot just north of the Plaza hotel. Parking will be in the Plaza parking lot which is in the hotel itself, slightly to the right of the main entrance. Bleachers will facilitate the great viewing, but in this prime location, you can see the race from the tents and you are right on the important turn "1" where the boats make a right after the longest straight on the course.
The menu will include:
Fresh Vegetable Crudites
A cheese platter with assorted fruits
Conch fritters
Mini beef Wellington
Spanakopitas
Mini crab cakes
Seven layer dip
Jamaican jerk chicken kabobs
Chocolate covered strawberries for desert
Assorted soft drinks and a cash bar.
A free drink ticket will be provided for the first 50 patrons to sign up for weekend VIP tickets by sending $15 for Friday viewing (no food, just soft drinks) and $50 for each or one of the race days (11:00 am to 5:00 pm) to:
APBA Offshore, LLC
100 Second Ave. S. Suite 704S
St. Petersburg, FL 33701
You will NOT be disappointed with our VIP treatment for you.
See you there.
