Is that a BAJA or a FOUNTAIN---- That thing has a beak.

mika 03-26-2003 12:40 AM

Two beaks!:D Actually I think it might be an old Image boat which is now Ocean Express. Anyone else know for sure?

Iggy 03-26-2003 06:11 AM

Ha!
Looks like the there was extensive damage to each sponson. Look at the galss work on the bow.

I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole.

jbrauer 03-26-2003 06:17 AM

The seller said he thinks the gelcoat will buff out quite nicely with a little elbow grease!!   :D :D

If you put allot of work and money into that boat you would have........

...........a boat that needs allot more work and money!

Fast Shafts 03-26-2003 07:10 AM

This boat was in a building in Toms River NJ that caught on fire (hence all the bow damage) It's located on Long Beach Island NJ. I like project boats but would not take this if it was given to me for free.
This is the same hull as one of the "Rolling Thunder" boats.

That one has been up on ebay before. We should talk Fred into this one. It might take him a couple of weeks to complete.

that would make a beautiful artificial reef........

searace 03-26-2003 02:27 PM

There was an identical boat that had 2 beaks added to make it 35 feet so it could jump classes...this is back in the early 90's.

BLee 03-26-2003 02:34 PM

Searace

Do you remember, "The Ofixco Special? Bright Orange Baja with the beaks. They had to add the beaks to jump classes as well.

LapseofReason 03-26-2003 02:53 PM

so if you buy it just name it "Boob Job" or "Twin Beaks"
