Powerplay Dan's Picture Stash
Here is a Picture from the Still Crazy wreck (38 aluminium Cougar)in Key west back in the 80s picture 1 the boat is just now coming to the surface. It reportedly dove at @ 100 striking the Sea Floor.
The story I heard was the rear fuel tank was damaged and they were running off the foreward tanks in the "Tin" cougar cats the fuel was in fuel cells in the wing.

Here is Picture 3 Powerplay Dan has one of the most extensive Photo collections around everything and anything is there..... The Powerplay Boats ---- like everyone ever built---- the racing from the 70s and of course the Boat/Mold building all recorded in photos.

I remember "Heart Beat" the fountain. It stuffed & ran right into the bottom (30 feet) and had severe impact damage to the bow.
The crew as I remember had moderate injuries from slamming into the dash.
