Hey Apache People

Whats the deal with the 98 47 at Martin Marine, I have know idea how to link to it but it's the second boat on the trader online search. It is said to have tripp. 525's #3 drives for 50 hours 169K. just seems cheap for a 98 47 anything.

LapseofReason 04-02-2003 06:07 AM

The Apache thread is so long and has such meaning that we wiped out 2 days of stuff to save it and not one person know's anything about this boat?

Wild 04-02-2003 07:28 AM

Thank's for the link Brian, one day I'll read about computers and figure out how they work.

LapseofReason 04-02-2003 07:46 AM

I can't beleave nobody has said anything about it yet, with all the looks (100) already. I bet if I said check this POS out I would get some feed back.

I've seen this, just in front of the fairing, all the way down to the chines. I believe the boat that I saw being repaired back in 1994 was the yellow warpath (or the yellow boat from the old brochures?). At the time it had a purple stripe and sat on a purple (really trick) old target trailer with tool boxes. The guys repairing the boat told me that it was comon for 41's to break just in front of the fairing.

This particular boat is now all white, had the dash moved up to make room for more seating, has a ton of fuel tanks and lives in a warehouse just accross from stainless marine along with another 41 called Mohican Warrior and a MINT 37 Midnight CC with big power and #3's. You would never know whats in the warehouse from the outside....

In 1988 I bought my first boat and was going thru the saugatuck channel and saw APACHE PETE'S first 41 pleasure and I was immediatly hooked on these boats. If I could I would have one in ever size, maybe someday. Steve

No, I know for a fact that it was a 41. It had extra fuel tanks added to the bow, I think that helped break the boat in half. This boat was in the trader just a few months back. Its easy to spot because of the purple target trailer thats got the toolboxes in front of the fenders, it uses a pintle hook instead of a regular trailer ball and the boats got fuel tank vents from one end to the other. A guy named Charley (big cuban guy) owned it, I'm going by stainless marine (actually earnies alloys) tomorrow, I'll stop by and see if I can get any info on the boat.
