Mechanical Trim Indicators

What kind of mechanical trim indicators does everyone use on a bravo outdrive? I have noticed that most of the ones I have seen use the one that has the cylinder that attaches to the side of the trim cylinder. But I have seen in Eddie marine and Gaffrig's catalog that they make one that bolts to the top of the drive. I don't like the one that attaches to side of the cylinder because if you have trim tabs you have 2 indicators going in one direction and one going in the opposite. Good and bad points on both would be appreciated.

I have the one from Gaffig that attaches where the trim sending unit would go. It works great, no problems with it. I never had the other type.

Your not alone. I think that is the wrong blue water web site. If anyone knows of a web site that shows a picture of the indicators please post.
