OT: Need disk brake pads
I have a 1970 chevy elcamino. I'm rebuilding my front end this week and My rotors are in need of resurfacing. I want (but not needed) new pads. Where can i get a great set of pads that will make this thing stop? I use the car as my daily driver around 30 miles a day stop and go traffic and High heat(las vegas). I don't want to get into the brake fade when I have to put the brakes to the test. Any ideas? don't care about the brake lifetime warrenty stuff. my GM dealer doesn't carry pads for my vehicle.
Thanks, Rick |
Don't know if they have anything to fit but N A P A sell a pad called ceramix (spelling) and they will do great and not wear out rotors
Or buy truckin mag. they have some advertisers that sell trick stuff :D :D :D |
I also vote for Carbon Metallic/Ceramic mix pads. I stuck them on my Tahoe and they worked great. Much better than stock. Try NAPA.
