Looking for new Go-Fast

Got turned on to this site and my first poker run and now I'm hooked. We sold our Tiara last fall and the wife almost killed me but I think she really likes the go-fast boats just as well. I'm looking to get into a performance boat this year and my search is just beginning so I thought this would be a good first post. I want something at least 38 ft. with reliable power and I don't like to get beat much so I need something that will get me out towards the front at a run, but still have some room on it as well.
What are some suggestions that you may have for a competitive new performance boater. Thank you, Chet.

We need to know how much you want to spend. I have the boat for you 2000 42 sonic. Gen. a/c, stand up head, 75mph ride's like a caddy.

I'm not as concerned with how much I spend as long as I'm happy with the performance of the boat. I am not looking for something that rides like a caddy either or I would have kept the Tiara . We need to be say in the 90 - 100 MPH group.

OK, you gotta give some kind of budget here, or otherwise you are going too have a bunch of ridiculous responses.

Do you like Catamarans or V-Hulls?
Would you like new or used?
Gotta give us a price range...
$ 80K-150K?
$150K-200K?
$200K-250K?
$250K-300K?
$300K on up?

What kind of boats did you ride on/see at your Poker Run experience?

Have a 2002 Cigarette Gladiator- Twin 500HP Mercruiser Racing Engines, Stamped & Sealed. Boat has 7 hours on engines sinceredone at CRE in Florida. Boat is brand new and on GPS is top speed 94.3 at Lake X.
@001 Triple axle Myco trailer also to go with it If interested let me know. Have other race boats , so I don't mind letting one go with today's economics.

46 Skater twin 1450 Sterlings $1.2mil 50 Nortech supercat quad 1200 Sterlings $1.5mil 51 Outerlimits twin stagerd 1450 Sterlings $850,000.00
46 Cigarette twin stagerd 1450 Sterlings $700,000.00
Any of these should keep you in front at a poker run.
When I said ride's like a caddy I just meant your not going to feel like you got hit by a truck at the end of the day.
The only thing my Sonic and your Tiara have in common are they both float.
I know a lot of people that have done just what you are doing and buy just because of MPH, if money is no problem you can go fast and have a nice ride.
Where do you boat, and what other 90-100mph boat's have you driven?

I know of two Active Thunders that are for sale that fit your criteria. These boats are both 90-100 mph floating condo's.;)
