My other boat sunk

Just got a call from the marina to inform me that the 29 Regal I have there is resting on the bottom. We were just out on it Saturday evening for a dinner ride. Oh well that makes it two boats that don't float for us. The Black Thunder has a 4" exhaust hose that split causng it to leak like a fire hose two weeks ago. Just doesn't seem to be a good start to this boating season.

That sucks!!! Maybe all teh bugs are now gone and the rest of the season will be trouble free!:)

Hey 43thunder,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. What marina are you in?

Bill, that sucks. I can cut a Clorox bottle in half and help you bail if necessary.

Tommy, is that the Coyote? If I remember you ended up with a Donzi, right? You going to the LCR kickoff May 1st?

Never mind bail Cignificant make sure when you cut it it's full and inadvertently set fire to it. Another cash sale like I read about all over and my insurance and everyone else's here goes up our a$$es as usual.
Please be diligent. Gaddddhh. Unbelievable.

you need to make a sensor with a strobe and a sonalert buzzer
so you guys can get the marina's attention when there's a water problem a simple float switch would work just put it on a block higher than the existing Bilge pump.

Shah Mat 04-10-2003 05:30 AM

Holy Crap , 43Thunder, where is that?

Sorry to here (and see) that. let me know if there's anything I can do.....

R Addiction 04-10-2003 09:48 AM

That SUCKS!!!! Get that rainbow off the water Quick!!. Any reason why this happened???

SUPERSTITIOUS 04-10-2003 11:09 AM

I'd certainly give the marina a ration of "****"!! I'm sure you paid to park there, and no one has the sense to notice the thing sitting a little low, and give you a call before its on the bottom??? Whats up with that?? What a bunch of stooges... I'm sure they never forget to send you a bill each year...

45sonic 04-11-2003 08:09 AM

To sum up all the questions and to say THANKS to all concerned I will attempt to fill in the blanks.
The boat is finally out of the water as of Wed around 10:30pm it took six (6) pumps to raise it and a long time to do it. Don't know the cause as of yet. I'll only say that it is at a marina on the mid-Potomac.
Called the insurance co still waiting for a return call AS USUAL. The engines have been preserved but the rest is pretty much f*@cked.
Other than that anyone who participated in the sinking of this boat will be given a beer in remembrance. Just kidding !!!
Will head down to the marina this weekend to view the damage and salvage what I can from the boat.
Let's just hope we can get the Black Thunder to float as well. We need to get that boat off of it's trailer so we can fix trailer. We can't even get the manufacter to return phone calls concerning the problems we have had with the loss of one wheel assy and ruined bearings. SEEMS to be par for the course this year. Maybe be just as well to take the year off and try again next year.

Thanks for all the concerns and will keep updating as information is learned

Bill
