I have seen the ones HotBoat makes. They are first class. I keep saying I'm going to put some on the 'Foul, but my docking lights are in the way. The flags are about 3" or so too long. Is it o.k. to trim the stripes area of the flat go fit around the lights or is this a no-no where American Flags are concerned? I would need to cut a semi-circle out of about 4-5 stripes or so. This is about the only way I can make it work, and the only reason I have not ordered any from HotBoat. And at $25 a set from him, I don't think a group discount is needed for these (and I am known as a REALLY cheap dutch bastard.....just ask Rambunctious!! LOL!!)

So, can I do this to the flags or not?? Don't want to do something considered un-patriotic to the flag.

'Foul
