We have narrowed it down to these eight. By voting until Tuesday night, the winner will be declared and the steaks will be on their way!! Thanks for voting, and thanks for all the great suggestions!! |

FURROCIOUS competition
|
"Wabbit Season" has a good ring to it. It goes with the Bunny idea along with the season (summer). Not to mention it looks like you are hunting "Bunnies" (playboy ones). But then again I'm biased!:D

Thanks Obnoxious21,
CAUGHT'n'TAIL was my choice. I like the slyness too. |
Proud to see my submission in first place at this time. (Monday, noon) This ol' Southern boy needs that meat y'all, so cast your vote for PRIME TIME and support the troops....
/mumbles as if confused Doc |
I'd make one 'slight' change.... how about USDA Prime Time - makes it a bit more obvious on the beef connection. Just a thought... (mostly, though, I'd like to call it "mine!" but the bank doesn't agree :D :D )
|
Joe Butis already has the "FURROCIOUS" name with his "CGS FURROCIOUS" which he named afer his cat.
|
mr_velocity: does it really count if a guy names his boat after his cat? I don't think so.
Only counts if you're a POODLE, right? :D :D :D |
I like your own suggestion the best 'Hare Raizin', that's a unique one.
|
Hare Shaved Clean
|
What about "Meat Market"
|
What about "Killer Bunny" as in Monty Python"?
|
|
i really just dont understand why summerO or any redblooded boat loving person wouldnt like :D
Bunny Bait |
How about "Smokin' Bunny" nice clean, fast name. BTW...Summer, why can't I buy a PRIME strip in KC for my own grill? I've been told it all gets pre-sold to New York, Chicago and the like...any truth to this? thanx-berg
|
I just thought of this one. Some may not get it out on the water, but real boaters would.
"Cat Nip" you know it drives Pu*** wild! |
Voting ends soon!!
liquid: I wondered that myself. It seems most of the product we produce (prime, that is) is shipped overseas, Japan and the Pacific rim in particular. The remainder is usually sold to the restaraunt supply business. The sad thing is Prime beef can sometimes be discounted in the states, as the general consumer tends to think of marbeling as unhealthy fat, and therefore will tend to coose even a select steak over a choice cut. We have been conditioned to beleive that fat in any form will kil you instantly:p Not so. See many fat Japanese people? i think it's the portion size, not content, that is the problem. If you know anyone in the restaraunt business, most suppliers are able to provide prime meat, although it is a special order item. I can get prime whole strip loins, but i have to buy a whole box (100 or so pounds I think) to get it. |
