Anyone know this boat? If so, what the hell is wrong with it? Granted, it's a single where most of these were/are twin small blocks, but that price is much lower than other 280's....

I figured something must have happened to this boat for it to be so cheap...

Dont know the boat , but the place that it is at is a big Sea Ray dealer and may not want it on their lot or the seller must turn it quick.

I just did a quick check at yachtworld.com - this boat is by far the cheapest 280 in the country. I was just thinking that it may have been involved in a well-known 'incident', something like that.

OTOH, it *is* tax time, and Uncle Sam doesn't like to wait for his money...

I knew the original owner to it. He traded for a twin engine awhile back and someone else bought it. It hasn't been in any accidents that I've heard (and we hear everything). I don't know why Harbors would want to turn it for that price unless it's brokered and the guy is broke.

I was up at Harbors a couple of weeks ago, I noticed it, it looked pretty nice, yet I did not know that is was that low of a price!

It looked like a keeper!:)
