White is the best color if your going to be doing the wrenching yourself it reflects the light the best. If your paying somebody to work on it......your paying them.

Sting don't they make tints for Awlgrip now? May be worth a look. Otherwise you can not do stronger then Gel with Durratech and tint it to match.

Give me a call this afternoon about the 502's if you still have them. (978) 985-0639

I like bright white under the engines and I like to see the paint scheme of the hullsides and deck carried over onto the sides of the engine compartment and the underside of the engine hatch. I also like when the rigging reflects the color scheme (ie. all clamps, hoses, brackets, etc., etc. are powder coated, fusion coated, painted, polished or anodized and often in a multitude of complimentary colors).

What about a med. silver or grey, or black, to me with some diamondplate would hide the grease and make the engine colors stand out, just my .02

hard to match when you drop tools and chip paint, plus the metallic's wont lay right because of the rough surface.
my $ .02
