kcgbjc,
If you don't mind, who are you having install the lift? I just got a 2500HD and am very interested in the RCD lift. |
I believe the HD pickup has a 2" body lift OEM, am I wrong?
I'm actually having the lift done at Outlaw Offroad (www.outlawoffroad.com). Nate's pricing is good after calling a few of the other's that were referred to me. I also hear great things about the RCD lift. Tell Nate I sent you. Probably no deal but nice to know he's getting some referrals and maybe he'll do even a better job :p Thanks Buck! I hope I need less than 10" as they are harder to find and I really don't want to go all custom. Extreme Trailers says they have an adjustable that goes to 11" and even hides away ($265). By Monday I'll know everything! See whoever will be in Havasu this weekend there! |
I have a 2500 HD with a 6" lift and 35" tires. I bought an extremely heavy duty 8" drop for the boat, and I am thinking it might be just a tad too low for a MYCO trailer. I also have a very trick billet aluminum 6" drop hithch that is rated pretty heavy as well. I don't think you will need more than an 8" drop, the receiver is already pretty low.

Chris-
Have one made that fits your needs. That's what I did. Measure where the top of your coupler on your trailer is from the ground. Then measure the truck once it's all lifted and stuff. Then measure where the hitch is. You are assuming that your height was perfect before........ |
The HD does NOT have an OE body lift. It looks that way because the new frames are taller.

Let me know how it goes with Outlaw. They are just down the hill from my office and was going to stop and talk to them. I'll ask for Nate. Thanks! |
