Gaffrig Speedo Leaking
 

Fluid leaking out from my Gaffrig speedo - what is this fluid? can it be resealed/ & or refilled??? anyone else have this problem???

i have a white one...u can have it if ya buy a couple of t-shirt's from the JDRF :D

It can be easily refilled. You need to remove the gauge and on the back side will be a plug with sticker warning you of all these nasty things if you should remove it. Go ahead and remove it. Now you need some glycerin from a local drug store. It's used as a hand lotion. Go ahead and fill 'er up. That's all there is too it.

The liquid is a highly toxic chemical acid that if touched, will cause a vicious flesh eating virus and cause all wildlife within 10 miles to suddenly attack humanity. :eek: :eek: :D

gives me the dry heaves...i only take it when i have not had ANY fluids for days!...but your speedo should be ok with it..let me know.

Are you sure its leaking from gauge? I thot the that but it turned out to be the water hose split on back of speedometer..They had
wrapped a wire clip too tite and split hose.. I merely cut it off and reinstalled..This on a new 288 sunsation.

Tighten the ring around the lens.It worked for me.
