Internet messed up??????
 

Is it just me or is the whole thing screwed up? Tried many diferent sites. All are slow to load, if at all. And of course, no pictures anywhere.

I am having no problems with pics or sites

I am having pic problems on lots of sites. Can someone in the know please help?

Same problem here. Didnt think anything of it untill I tried a couple other sites. Really got scared when Fox News wouldnt load pictures.

Did we all get infected by something on Packin's thread? I knew he was dangerous!

i am having the same problem. had the same prob with the computer at the shop to. i had IE 5 so i upgraded to IE 6 and still the same. called my internet provider and they have not heard of any problems out there. hmmm. get'n frustrated. hope we can figure this out soon.

It definitly has something to do with OSO. I rebboted then went to other sites and everything worked fine. OSO even worked good untill I went to Packin's post about Steve's Skater. Couldnt see anything there and it corrupted my browser so I couldnt load other sites such as Fox News.

This isnt funny anymore.

Works fine with AOL 7, but not with IE6 on the same computer.

No problem here but I haven't been to packins thread.

rj . . it wasnt pack. i was stand'n right next to him when the his PC at the shop got it to. somthins definetly go'n around though.

Just tried it again. Rebooted and everything was fine on OSO and other sites untill I went to Packins thread about Steves Skater again. Now OSO wont load completely as well as other sites.

although the pic that he posted was originally from screamandfly and i think there is some problems there to. bevieve me, if there was somthing in that thread or pic it was unintentional.

Im not blaming Pack. Just trying to get to the root of the problem. Dont know him except for this board.

From what I do know of him though it would be funny if he gets us all infected.

Someone else who is having the problem should try to reboot and see if that thread screws things up again.

i hear ya ron. just try'n to feed some info to see if we can figure this out. my PC has been messed up since about 5:00pm. i am going to check the scream and fly board and see if anyone is having the same prob.

I have ran Norton twice now. Nothing.
Yesterday while Pm'ing here on OSO, my Norton popped up saying it was blocking an attempt by a trojan horse virus. It listed the IP address of the culprut as from Canada.

I just now shut down and restarted and went to another site that wouldn't work either tonight after I visited OSO earlier. It now works fine along with a couple other quick site checks. I did try to look at the Skater pic in Pacs topic earlier, pic didn't show up. Can't recall if that was when all the problems started thou.

BTW, OSO is now loading at normal speed and all Avitars and banners are working normal. Think I will steer clear of Pacins post for now.

EXACTLY, SAME HERE! Is that spooky or what? How can trying to view that thread stay in the browser when we leave?:mad:

Damn Packinfudge, you mother fukker. That is exactly where it starts. I was cruising along just fine all night wondering WTF everyone was talking about while my peice of ****t laptop was doing just fine. Then I follow Rons (rjcardinal) advice and I'm stuck downloading picture everywhere I go.

Guess I'll go to bed on that note. Hope it's all fixed in the am.

hmmm . . well, i just took one for the team too. i just put a new hard drive in my PC a few weeks ago and i still have my old one intact. so i pluged it in fired it up and surfed the site with no prob. pulled up pics and add banners fine. went to the steve's skater thread and the problem showed up. not quite sure whats going on but i can say this. i was standing right next to scott when he put up that thread. pulled the pic from scream and fly photo shoped it and put it up. thats about it. if there was anything in that post i dont know how it would get in and like i said was unintentional. hope we can figure this out cuz now i got 2 hard drive's infected. just put a big damper on my porn surf'n dammit.

I don't think anyone faults Pacin for this. He just needs to delete that topic if OSO doesn't 1st to keep others from having the same thing happen to them.
