Default Opps, It seems I broke the world wide web..

ok...I just drug my happy ass out of bed thaks to Glassdave and deleted it. I have no idea what virus could be attached.?.? I ran a scan on it at work and nothing came up. I had found the pics on another site and a professional graphic artist who does this sort of thing put the OSO logo's on it. So I am sorry if the thread caused any problems, it worked fine from my house but seems to have messed up my computer at work... very very odd..if anyone has any info on what virus (if any) was attached please let me know as my scan will not pick up anything on either computer.. thanks Scott

I am unaware of any virus that can be transferred via a picture. In fact symantec lists that very idea as a hoax on their website. I had no problems with the thread on either of my computers.

*****also I just called and woke up my IT guy and he also has not heard of any virus that can be spread by a picture, Now I am not sying there was not a problem but I will do all I can to get to the bottom of it. if anyone has any information please post it as I could not get a virus scan to pick up anything even after updating it.

Question

I read the post including pictures and had no problems and still don't. It seems like only people with IE6 and higher had problems are you sure it was a virus and not a glich in the browers security settings.

Default This was strange...

I viewed packinair's thread sucessfully the first time (har har Steve). Afterward I could not load images on ANY website - even in a new browser. I rebooted the computer and the problem went away.

I am glad to know who was RESPONSIBLE, as I thought my wife had hacked my computer to prevent me from looking at pictures of new boats.
