The Building of a Race Team.

We will be in Marathon...just not in the new boat. We'll be running in One Design, getting our feet wet, so to speak. Chris says I can follow him around the race course so I can see how its done. I've got news for him, I'm bringing in secret weapon.
Running in One Design is part of the program in our march toward the Worlds in Key West. Learned last year, with much disappointment, that there is a big sign at the Worlds that says "No Rookies Need Apply".
Savannah is pushing the build schedule. But who knows what magic Will Smith and the guys at Phantom can pull out of the hat.
In the mean time...stay tuned, there are lots of details being worked out that we'll share with everyone in "The Making of a Race Team" articles at http://www.h2operformance.com

Yes, that was the old "Team Chicago" boat. It's for sale and listed in the classified section.
Your right, somebody should be racing it either in Performance Class or the Great Lakes Silver Cup Series races who I understand are still running A-Class races.
We made some pretty radical changes last fall by mounting a new Blackhawk drive on the transom. Still runs in the 80's but a lot better angle of attack. The boat is at Phantom factory right now, waiting for a new owner.
