Wheels For 2500hd
 

ANYBODY HAVE ANY LINKS OR PICTURES OF ANY GOOD RIMS FOR A 2500HD CHEVY ????

I went sorta plain on mine, 2500 Avalanche, which is same size as yours. I went with 16x8 American Racing Equipment, Outlaw II rims.

I REALLY like this one though. I was trying to get them when I purchased, but they were tied up in a ship off the West Coast during all the dock worker strikes, and I was going to have to wait indefinately.

you got that right topdj, i had a pair of centerline hellcats on a 1/2 ton gmc, the truck looked great but those rims were a pain in the ass to clean!!!

I totally agree. That is why I like the ARE, as they have a clearcoat over them. Dirt wipes right off.

The absolute worst were my 1987 honeycomb aluminum Trans Am (GTA) rims. I could wash car in 30-45 minutes (it was a dark color). I would spend another two+ hours cleaning rims and polishing the SS exhaust.

I was going to go with the chromed Helos, (still might one day), as the polished aluminum was a no go in my book. I do not mind a little TLC on cleaning the rims. If you know what you are doing, you can use the store bought wheel cleaners (sprays) without doing any damage.

I'm running 16x8 in Eagle series 058 on my Chevy K1500 Tahoe 2-door. Like them a lot for the price. I'm pretty sure they make an 8 lug version that would fit your 2500.

mine are bare aluminum polished, I put a couple hours every
season with a small buffing tool and a can of mothers
and boy do they look great last the whole summer if I keep
them cleaned off.

What size tires are you going to run ? Does truck have lift ? I have 1998 gmc with 3" body running 33x12.50x15. Rims are 15x10" I had to cut the front bumper and bottom of front fender. Tire's would rub when I turned the wheel all the way...
