Default Need advise on right prop

OK,

As always I am trying to get a little more top end here, I am looking at buying another prop for just top end!!!!

So here is current set up

2001 27 Fever
500efi XZdrive
25 RH Hydro, 5350 rpms 74 mph freash water gps,

I am looking at two props forsale right now, a 26 Hydro Labbed from a small shop. Or a 27 Hydro, nothing been done to it, but may need some polishing. Both used.

Is the 27 too much??

Thanks

WILL

I would THINK that a properly-labbed 27 would still allow you to get to 5200rpm, which is where you want to be with that motor. I'm assuming that your current 25 is not labbed. If it is, go with a labbed 26.

You are correct my current 25 Hydro is not labbed, original from Fountain.

Will,

Call Hydromotive directly. They are very helpful and can tell you what will work best on your boat.
