Hardin Oil Cooler

Hello Folks,

I finally have started to dress the motor hoping to drop the "Barney Bulldog Motor" in a few weeks.

Last year I ran the big Eddie Marine cooler with a Perma-cool oil temp mounted on the oil pad. I never managed to get my oil temp above 125-140, so I am considering a change.

Has anyone used the Hardin combination Oil/Power Steering Oil cooler? it is supposed to be rated up to 1000 Hp and is thermostaticaly controlled, and under 500 dollars.

Thanks for the advice everyone,

Mike "DaBeezer"

I could use some help here also.
I was thinking of using a 16" combo cooler with the Perma-cool thermostat:confused:
Shouldn't that thermo stat get the oil at least to 190*
