Dave-I just put a set on my wifes 740 today--I bought them on e-bay--brand new in the box--740 sport wheels--they are a knockoff but actually have a nicer finish than the orig.--my cost on the o.e.m. wheels were about $2000--these were $800 delivered-they came with the o.e.m. centercaps and M insert on the face of the wheel-they are exactly the same as orig.-john

John,which ones did you buy?
The ones I posted a picture of are new knock offs from the wheel exchange, listed on e-bay.
I can get 8"x18" front & 9.5x18" rear, including tires for $1500 & change.
Do you guys ever get used wheels (from upgrading cars) at the dealership?

Dave I didn't see the pic you posted-the ones I bought are the M paralells--they would come on a 740 sport-big rubber in the rear-255-45-18-fronts 235-45-18---we dont get much in the way of take-offs---if you can get the knock-offs with tires for around 1500 thats a good deal--what year 5---if it's 95 or older you need hub spacers

John
I am going to go for the M Parallels too. Lower profile rubber though.
What do you think of these wheels on a 99 528? Would you go for something different?
