Damn Brian sorry to hear that. Gotta get that house built so you can move it home. Mine stays in the driveway with a little Pit Bull watching. My big alarm, 110lb Dobie is no longer with us. Much better deterent than the motion detector. If you can outrun the dog you can take anything ya want, good luck LOL.

I hear ya Brian,
Several years ago I had left my Fountain at the dealer and while it was there someone had broken into the cabin, and although nothing was stolen they messed up the v-berth and there was a messy substance that looked similar to Elmers Glue all over the carpet. ....yuk

Brian,
Sorry to hear of your illegal boarding party. hope things work out for you. That's one reason I keep my boat on the trailer, In MY Back yard . The one who wants to board it has to get by the DOG first.

I've only had my cockpit cover and nothing else covering the boat for about a month now. I store my boat across from Sydwayz's boat. I should probably go and check to see if the perp was snooping around my boat too. Sydwayz, I took the boat out last weekend and didn't notice anything missing or out of the ordinary. So, this "break in" might have occurred in the last week or so.
Since we have a new gate entry system, it was probably someone who stores their boat/RV on the premises. Pisses me off to think it might be someone who has card access to the gate...

Is something like this what you are looking for.

Thanks just once, but one with a remote is really what I want. I want to be able to disarm it without tripping it myself. I do not want to locate it somewhere it is easy to spot and trash if a perp found it, which is what I would have to do, to get to it myself quickly. If it had a keyfob remote, that would be sweet. I have already searched the web 3 times with Google and Hotbot.

They have this one, but it is an infrared remote, and a radio would be better. This one flashes for 15 seconds before it sounds. That would allow a perp to see and trash it before it goes off.
