Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all of your comments and thoughts.
To address the paper issue I just want to reassure you that the third issue will be the best yet!

As far as the west coast thing that a few of you touch on... Well look at the weather. The west coast boating is just about all year round and the east coast boating is just finally getting started. We will be at the "Smoke On The Water" run this year, all three New York Runs, The New Jersey (NJPPC) Runs and the Florida Poker Runs. So it just a matter of time until you see your boats in the mag too.

Question??? Who will be at the "Smoke On The Water" run this year and who wants to be covered in a future issue?

I think maybe I started the west coast thing. It was not intended as a bad thing just an observation of the style of boats in ads and pics. Maybe I'm just jealous that I'm stuck in Indiana. I do see things I like in the mag and will probably subscribe for a year and give it a chance.
To the mag, If you get bored around Labor Day there is a good poker run on Lake Cumberland. That would be the lake that a another magazine I know of left OUT of there top 20 destinations.

Ron, got mine some time between Thursday and today - sorry, busy with other stuff. Great article on racing by you! I also like the multi-part series on the big HP engines. Maybe add a part at the end about hours to expect and maintenance cost/schedule etc.

Mrs. Toys noticed that Art's wife got involved in the "Girls Thing" section. Now she wants to contribute to that section. Something about how to extort jewelry from your spouse for permission to spend more money on the boat

Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll be going south a few more times.

Remember, what your reading was written two months ago. The Bay was still frozen here.

I think Mike has put together a great team of writers who are capable of writing interesting stories on a regular basis. The magazine will evolve as we hone our skills and build a revenue stream that allows the magazine to grow in all directions.

For the second issue, I think it came out pretty good. Plenty of room to improve.

Look for next month...
