Hey Risky...whats your first name again? id love to see Mike Snows race boat. roadtrip to Mikes garage maybe? i have manual jackplates ,low water pickups with nosecones and chopper props.i also moved the motors closer together. A guy around here that has set up a couple of banana boats says its worth a few mph. i will never really know if it is because i did jackplates at the same time. I would be scared to ask Ray for the video ..every time ive talked to him he is very busy and i feel like id be wasting his time
thanks again for all the info

Mike

Too Slow Been good, How you? Getting seat brackets powder coated this week. I lowered my bolsters so it took a bit of alu mini um cutting and welding. Cabin is looking great. Cockpit looking better, but back seat is unfinished...

I will try to post some pic's today...

Risky What's a fun run? How do we start another one?

MrV8outboard Hey dude, I am heading down to Hyannis the weekend of the 23rd with my single engine Banana missle in tow. I am racing in the ***awi from Hyannis to Nantucket. I crew on a 40 foot sloop called the eddystone light.

Inbetween the race I will be causing trouble in my Banana. Will you be boating in the area or are you more down cape?

The more recent race boat (recent---about 10 years ago, but the MOST recently built Team Banana race boat nonetheless).

These photos were take by me at the--get this--High Performance Powerboat Show, Bayside Expo Center in Boston (about 1991 or so).

Unfortunately for us Northeast enthusiasts, the show was apparently a 1-shot deal. 'Haven't seen it since (there's one in Laconia, NH this weekend, but I ain't fightin' the Bike Week traffic to get to it!).
