I have had Gaffrig, Lathem and now Marine Machine. Marine machine is by far my favorite. The trim buttons are in the perfect spot. You trim with your middle finger rather then your thumb. It is much more comfortable when running hard in rough water.

I had latham in the shadow, gaffrig in the 28ss and kk in the cafe...

lathams were my fav...they were smooth and you can't bend'em...besides, they look the coolest!

I think the new MM stuff is probably comparable to latham, but i have no experience with 'em...they look very similar.

I like Marine Machine the best. I could not find a difference in feel between the MM and Latham and the MM had a more comfortable trim button location. Finally, the MM felt better in the hand. The Latham seem a bit small and thus concentrate too much pressure in a small spot of my palm. The MM seem a bit bigger and the design is a bit smaller.

I like the looks of the new Gaffrig's that are similar to the MM and Latham design. I have found that the Gaffrigs I've used are very smooth, and look forward trying the new design at some point.

The MM look cleaner than the Latham they don't have that half moon hump at the base.

That half-moon hump looks bad-ass

We just put a set of Gaffrig shifters and throttles in the Cafe and they look damn sharp.

Trout .... are you talking about the older style shifters or the new billet ones?

The new billet ones are sharp.
