Congrats Warren and Mack, I left early but wanted to say that in Daytona. Will we see you going for #2 in Marathon?

is that it.......................just 1
in how many years? |
Baja used to manufacture a 33' cat. One of the Rolling Thunders is a 33 Baja-I believe they may of won some of the local NJ races. A second Rolling Thunder is a Jaguar cat so I'm not sure if I'm mixing the two up. There was also a boat named "Kat" which was also a 33 and ran in the modified class years ago.

There were also two 24' Bajas that ran last year, one out of Cape Cod, "Air Time" and of course Jersey Boy Bruce, who ran very competively in "Simply Awesome". Both ran in P5.

BAJA CATS
Bob,
To the best of my knowledge there were three 33 foot BAJA cats made for competition in 1985: M7 BAJA M43 Rolling Thunder.......later became C23 then C1 Rolling Thunder P177 BAJA Bandit and finally 333 Ofixco Special????35 footer raced in Open Class...later became 77 BFI Systems. I believe all four of these boats won at least one race before being retired; I am not 100% sure though. |
You guys are the best
