Our tornado sirens went off about 1 hour ago warning has just ended so now I can leave the basement and wait untill the sun comes up to see where they hit.

The only reason there is a drought in some areas of the country is because the northeast has been hogging all the moisture for the past 6 months I think the distribution network needs some repair

Be careful what you hope for!! I could deal with rain monday thru friday morning. Just let the weeends be hot and dry!!

That's right, be carefull what you hope for.
We were 8" short on Precip since January and 12" short since September.
Now we've gotten 7"+ in the first 11 days of May.
I think we need to ration the number of farmers that are praying for rain.
At least it's helping out the water levels in Lake Michigan. Although everything we pump off our fields heads toward the Mississippi River.

We are getting the rain too maybe it will help melt all the ice still in the harbor. Looking like wont be going in till memorial day at least.

Been out 3 time so far but last 2 weekends have sucked. And now forecast is for rain on and off all week. Hope its gone by next weekend, boats gettin lonely sittin out there.

Lake Michigan is still about 6 feet low....let it rain till Memorial day then its time for some sun!
