I've seen your anti LLC / MA posts on the other message board. Your talking out of both ends! BH |
Brian,
If you can find one post it here for all to see. Everything that I've posted anywhere has been based on research I have done personally and just about every time that I post something there I post the same here and visa versa. I have never personally attacked anyone that hasen't attacked me first. Yes I have told MA I thought he was lying about details of this whole mess. He still has not answered the question of his version of the APBA BOD. Can you honestly tell me you've talked to anyone outside of Offshore to find out the otherside of the issue. If not your only getting about 1/3rd of the story. Matt |

Gordo, You are correct in that I hold no animosity toward anyone in any category especially Offshore. I love boats and boat racing. I can tell you right now that I have spoken to only one of the Hearns once and as that conversation offered some more insight to what is going on, that one phone call didn't send me on any wild tangents either, it was one concerned APBA member to another. I am still trying to ask needed questions of both sides. I do not believe that this Hearns Vs LLC., it is a dispute between two contractually obligated parties and it the responsibility of both to resolve the dispute in the way the contract sets forth which in this case is binding arbitration from a neutral 3rd party. The sofa racers seem > to be falling to the back of the pack - BH Brian, I have only stated my opinion on the issues that I have researched, if that has put me on any side it's the side of the truth as "I" see it. I have not asked anyone to believe me or not. I have encouraged everyone to seek information for themselves if they can. Anyone reading my posts can make up their own minds if they think what I say is right or wrong. I would like to see both sides come together and get this taken care of. I believe one side has made that attempt in the manner the contract set forth, the other thinks its right and doesn't seam to care what the contract says. You decide which one is which. And if you want to know I have seen the contract. Matthew |
Sometimes.........I hate boat racing. You guys are like a bunch of Jr. High girls........

Not sure were the blame can lie on that or maybe no one is to blame. However all this crap for a guy like me who used to really be into racing and understands the RACING part of it, all this crap turns me off. I may go to ONE race this year that being the SBI race in NY. It could just as easily be APBA if they had a closer race but that is not the case. The only reason however that I will be going to the race it to hook up with friends and make the run up the Hudson. All these threats of Lawsuits and boats getting locked up and this that and the other but Mike A is NEVER wrong????????????? Something just does not equate Jon |

This thread is being split again........
1. The fact based side in which Grin has done a wonderful...and IMHO...... non biased job. 2. The emotional side wherein we are told that this is a "waste of time" and "harmful" to the sport....and based on unspecified "hidden agendas". Please consider that lawsuits, non payment of fees, and refusal to arbitrate are far more "harmful" than free and open discussion. I'll freely admit that I dislike some of the players here, but I'm also big enough to admit if I am wrong....and will defend to the death other people's right to a viewpoint. So far....I'm still absorbing and learning....and if I can learn....given 40 plus years in the sport.. certainly all of us can benefit from this exercise. I am asking again that we stick to the facts as either published or quoted, lay off the tangents and objections...and try to get to the heart of the matter. As a businessman I know that it is easy to walk away from the sticky issues, hide from confrontation, and ignore hot topics......but success is measured precisely by how effective one is at finding amicable solutions........ not necessarily judicial victories.... Perserverance, diligence and effort is needed here....and it seems Mr. Barrett is working quite hard in that regard. T2x |
Nothing on this forum will either obtain or discourage any real sponsorship. That should be based on exposure, TV, and fan interest.
Nascar has Jeff Gordon's wife demanding full accounting of other driver's income......with no impact on sponsorships.......so please spare us the "dirty laundry" charges and get back to the facts. T2x |
