Yes, since this thread was originated, a lot has happened. I made the switch to Konrad drives in April '04 and have totally eliminated drive failure in my Top Gun. I've since taken a position with them in sales/marketing for their high performance division.

I feel the TRS boats are an even better bargain now,(as long as the hull is sound) now that there is a viable option. The conversion from TRS to Konrad can be completed in a day or so.
