SeaDated,
You're welcome to borrow mine. It's the older version, works fine on 500 EFI's, etc. There is a newer version with changeable cartridges for various installations and I believe even more data capture.
Mine displays about every variable the ECU processes. I can send it to you after the 15th. if that's not too late for you. (Dustin is in town the 14th. and we'll need it for various tests that weekend, after that you're free to use it as long as you like.)

It looks like the DIACOM PLUS software is the hot ticket if you have a laptop computer. You could hook it up and monitor problems while cruising in the boat, when you have an ntermittent
problem that only occurs under load.
A question? It looks like these only monitor the status of the computer and sensors. So how do these builders and aftermarket HP guys reprogram the computer?
1. Do they just use special software on a computer and a special
interface cable like newer cars.
2. Do they program a chip and replace it like older cars. I think not
Mmmmm, I'm sure a lot of people on the board are wondering the same thing. Inquiring minds want to know.

I was thinking (I know...I know...)
After struggling with a notoriously unreliable fuel gauge for several seasons, I've been thinking about installing fuel flow meters/totalizers in my boat. The problem is that the "over 500 hp" FloScan units are expensive. Since my boat uses GM EFI, wouldn't a scan tool like this give me what I am looking for (and then some) at far less $$$? Just need to figure out how to mount a couple of them on the dash without it looking too unsightly....
