Hey JohnnyD Buy my Sunsation!!! Never been beached. The bottom is as shiney as the top! Make me an offer! I've had my new boat for a month now so the Sunsation has to go.

I beach mine all the time, but then again i have been sanding on the gel for 2 weeks now and have to redo the entire bottom:(

Beach it a lot...just check your plug afterwards, trust me on this, it isnt like the boat sank before or anything ;)

We beach our boats here on the Missouri river. We pull up slowly
just in case of a hidden log. Just throttle it a little, then we use what we cal "sand anchors" to hold the boat in place. No problem

hey since we have the same boats I'll just tell ya I dont beach mine I anchor a few yards offshore, my hull still looks new underneath.

Here's Johnny 05-15-2003 07:58 PM

Thanks guys...I kind of figured I shouldn't bother so I'll just stick to using the anchor...

AZ...I am trying to stick out one last season with my boat so I didn't want to waste your time, if you happen to still have the sunsation in the winter I will definatly want to take a trip to see it.
