Anyone have their 496HO ECU reprogrammed?
I was wondering if anyone who has a 496HO has had Whipple reprogram the ECU for more power (Stage 2).
If so, was it worth it? What were the gains (if any)?
Does the motor run ok?

Bill,
Try a search on here. I remember seeing some results posted by someone and he commented on two examples with results. From what I remember the gain wasn't much, maybe 1-2mph.
If you don't have any luck on here it may have been on riverracerx.com.

I remember seeing that thread as well. The other BIG advantage is the lack of black soot on the transom. A major hassle for us twin HO owners. I wonder if that is due more to the ECU reprogram or does the 140 degree thermostat play in to that as well??
