Default Dyno Results

I'VE RESENTLY DYNO MY ENGINES, WE WERE LOOKING TO GET 1000HP, WE GOT 978HP AT 6200RPM 5# OF BOOST TIMING AT 32 GAS 110. HOW WOULD THESE COMPARE TO MERCURY, STERRLINGS OR KEITHICKET ENGINES 1000HP? DOES ANYONE HAVE DYNO RESULTS

THANKS RON

We need engine specs. On only 5 lbs of boost. I do not see why you could not top the 1000 mark with a little more boost.

Motor should last forever at that boost. Any reason you did not install an intercooler? Intercooler may give you the extra 22HP to make 1000 & it will help to keep motor from detonating.

My 10.5:1 632" made 900HP (@6700) tunnel ram (2X775 race demons) on 93 Octane. At 6200 power was around 870. My motor likes 32 degrees as well.

Cam is 280/288 @.050 with .730 lift on 115 C/L.

With 5# of boost you should easily be getting 1000HP, what heads and cam are you running.

Kurt, we only reached 104mph with 820hp were hoping to reach 118-120mph

the heads are 350 MAGNUM AFR , COMP CAM 715 LIFT DURATION AT .050 FOR INTAKE IS 264 EXHAUST 264 GROSS LIFT 215, THE REASON FOR NO INTERCOOLER WAS HEIGHT AND THE 8-71 BLOWER WE HAD NEW FROM OUR LAST ENGINES, TRING TO KEEP THE COST DOWN, WE WILL PUT 10-71 BLOWER SOMETIME THIS YEAR OR NEXT.
YES, WE NEED A BIGGER BLOWER
